Once you’ve called our dedicated Weather-Line to check your flight is going ahead as scheduled, your adventure is ready to begin.
When you arrive at the meeting point in York, complete with free parking, you will check in with your pilot and crew. Under their direction, you and the rest of the passengers will be able to help set up the balloon and basket – a fun and memorable way to start your day!
Before the pilot begins inflating the balloon, they’ll deliver a comprehensive safety briefing. Once all passengers have acknowledged the briefing, the pilot will begin inflating the balloon, with your help, if you’re willing to get stuck in.
When the balloon and basket are upright, your pilot and crew will invite you aboard. As the burner ignites and the ground drifts away, you’ll rise gently above the rolling Yorkshire countryside for an incredible flight.
Enjoy panoramic views, capture breathtaking photos and savour a peaceful, almost surreal sense of calm as the landscape unfolds beneath you.
